My name is Luke and I am a guitar teacher based in Westhill, Aberdeenshire, specialising in Rock, Pop, Metal and Blues guitar tuition to all ages and abilities from the City and Shire of Aberdeen. I have over 17 years experience playing guitar as a performer, songwriter and recording artist and am confident I can help you learn guitar.

As the lead guitarist for the Scottish rock band Estrella, I have performed on several UK and European tours across 16 different countries and at festivals including Download, Hard Rock Hell and Scotland’s award winning Les–Fest (now Wildfire Festival). Recorded in many studios including the infamous Rockfield Studios (Queen, Motorhead, Royal Blood) in Wales with producer Nick Brine (Thunder, Oasis, The Darkness) and with Ozzy‘s ex keyboardist John T Sinclair in his studio near Loch Ness. I have also shared the stage alongside the likes of Sebastian Bach, Diamond Head, The Answer, JettBlack, Enuff Z’Nuff, Robin Beck, House of Lords, H.E.A.T and LA Guns’ Phil Lewis to name but a few.

The vast amount of touring and studio experience I’ve gained over the years has helped to hone my skills and technical ability as an accomplished guitarist and I can’t think of a better way to on pass this knowledge to people through teaching.

My main goal is for you to achieve the musical ambitions you would like to accomplish, whether that is playing a few songs to impress your friends, help with your guitar pieces from school or to join a band and perform in front of a large audience, I will teach you what I know to help your endeavors.
